The Student Activities Office is committed to supporting student organization leaders by providing resources, training opportunities, and practical tools to help groups thrive. Whether you are a new officer learning the basics of student group management or an experienced leader looking to strengthen your skills, our trainings are designed to help you navigate the challenges and opportunities of student leadership.

Throughout the year, we offer a variety of learning opportunities, including in-person workshops, virtual webinars, and self-guided resources. Topics cover areas such as leadership development, event planning, risk management, financial processes, member engagement, officer transitions, and other essential aspects of successfully leading a student organization.

Upcoming Trainings

The trainings listed below are designed to help student group leaders develop practical skills, gain valuable knowledge, and connect with campus resources. Trainings are offered in a variety of formats, including in-person workshops and virtual webinars. Webinar recordings and presentation materials are typically made available with closed captioning approximately one week after the session, allowing student leaders to access the information whenever it is most convenient. Additional guides and resources are also available to support your organization's success throughout the year.
