Student Group Officer Transitions Workshop
When and Where: Wednesday, September 17th from 3:00pm to 4:30pm at The Toaster
This in-person training is focused on supporting groups who are currently or recently transitioning outgoing and incoming officers.
This event focuses on ensuring group’s have an effective officer transition process. Effective officer transition is vital to the longevity of a student group.
As a result of this training, you will be able to: Apply effective officer transition practices, identify what transition practices you can implement for the future, and transition your documents adequately

Student Group Fundraising Workshop
When and Where: Thursday, October 9th from 10:30am to 11:45am at The Toaster
This workshop will help student groups understand fundraising. We will cover both internal and external fundraising, donations, and will look at some case studies to better understand common situations. Along with discussion with other student group members, we will spend some time talking about the logistics of fundraising as a part of the University, how to plan one, and some tips and recommendations for future events.

Student Group Budgeting Workshop
When and Where: Tuesday, November 11th from 10:30 to 11:45am at The Toaster
At this workshop we will be talking about student group budgeting. Some topics we will cover in our presentation and group discussion time include why budgeting is important, how to develop, track, and manage group finances, and how University resources can support financial planning. Throughout, there will be time to ask questions, share ideas in a large group, and see how the budgeting strategies in the presentation apply to specific organizations.
