Event Elements
About the Artist - Boyish
Since their early days rehearsing above a strip club called Pumps, Boyish's India Shore and Claire Altendahl have worked together like a gas station coffee and donut - the perfect combination. But Gun marks the first album they have made in a studio and on a tape machine, not in an apartment on a laptop. Alongside Loren Humphrey (Cameron Winter, Lana Del Rey), they produced the record fully analog, with no click tracks and just five instruments, during two months spent in the uncanny village of Tuxedo Park, NY.
About the Artist - Agnes Uncaged
Formerly “creeping charlie,”Agnes Uncaged has received attention across the Midwest for its guitar-driven, cinematic indie rock. Eubanks was hailed as “one of the Twin Cities' most promising young songwriters” by critic Chris Riemenschneider, and the group led First Avenue’s Best New Bands of 2022.
A rabbit apparition named Agnes came to Julia Eubanks on a hike through the French Alps, and she felt her fearful aversion to releasing music dissolve. Like the rabbit superimposed over the mountainscape, Agnes Uncaged’s lyrics elicit a dance between the surreal and literal. Sisters Julia (Vocals and Guitar) and Esmé Eubanks (Bass), Jack Malone (Drums), and Cole Benson (Guitar) balance grittiness and prettiness to conjure a world of nostalgia and youth, drawing inspiration from '90s Pacific Northwest grunge.
About the Artist - FINICK
Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, 19-year-old singer-songwriter FINICK (real name Josie Hasnik) creates moving, whimsical indie folk music. FINICK expertly balances their real-life emotions with shimmering, imaginative narratives of their own creation. The result is a powerful, unique, and compelling sound reminiscent of inspirations like Brandi Carlisle, Florence + The Machine, and Phoebe Bridgers. With their songs, FINICK hopes to reach the people who seek escape through music. FINICK released their 2nd full length album "Weekends In Purgatory" in 2025.
