About the Artist: Sorry Mom
NYC-based queer punk duo Sorry Mom was built on east coast grit and punk-fueled chaos. The duo, comprised of Juno Moreno and Taryn Gangi, were college buddies, and they credit their collegiate music scene for kick-starting their career after being admittedly ticked off that the bands on campus were heavily male-dominated. The band is noticeably unostentatious, and prefer to let their music do the talking. Beware the band will deliver you a heavy dose of sarcasm and the realest set of lyrics you’ve ever heard. Sorry Mom is carving out their own unique space in the scene, and infusing their no-nonsense, I don’t give a f*ck attitude into every song they make.
About the Artist: Anita Velveeta
Anita Velveeta is the musical project of Minneapolis musician Anita Bauer. Sticking to no genre her music is a collage of different sounds and patterns repurposed into musical pastiche. She has spent the last year touring the US and Canada extensively and is working on an upcoming album that combines nu-metal, rave music, country, grindcore and beyond.
