Artist Bio: Jeremy is a local artist practicing sculpture in Minneapolis. Jeremy works intuitively with clay, and utilizes the plasticity of the material to create haunting and gestural figures. Jeremy's clay vessels are loosely formed with coils, pushed and pulled until a face emerges. "The faces seem to manifest from an unknown space, as if I’m channeling a “being” into existence. The void inside of the vessel symbolizes the consciousness; the vast, invisible and largely unknown space of the mind."
