Apply to serve on the committee!
Student Unions & Activities Grants Program funds hundreds of thousands of dollars towards student group events and projects each year. By serving as a member of the grants committee you could help make funding decisions. Your role as a committee member would be to review all grant applications prior to the committee meeting and attend the committee meetings for approximately four hours to make funding decisions. This opportunity offers you the chance to make a valuable contribution to the campus community while building your resume for the future. This volunteer position requires that you read each cycle’s grant applications and attend monthly grant meetings. Committee meeting dates can be found here: Grants Date Schedule.
Committee members must be available Wednesdays from 1:00-5:00pm on the day of the committee meeting. Lunch is provided to the committee each meeting!
To be considered, please read the committee member position description and complete the interest form (links below). Submissions of the interest form have an initial deadline of June 24, 2016 and should be submitted to Patrick Haught either via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or in person in the Student Activities Office (Room 126 Coffman Union, 300 Washington Ave. SE). Interested parties will be contacted shortly after the deadline.
Following the June deadline, we accept new members throughout the year as space allows. Contact Patrick Haught to inquire about openings on the committee.
