  • Working knowledge of design programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Understanding of design principles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Passed College of Design's Graphic Design portfolio review
  • Has taken or is currently in Typography (or equivalent coursework)
  • Experience with a variety of design projects (i.e. logos, promotional campaigns, etc.)

Essential Functions:

Student Graphic Designers work within the SUA Marketing Department. Creativity is used to design posters, brochures, ads and other promotional materials for departments within Student Life.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 75% Create and Design: Take a role in generating concepts and then creating and designing materials, as requested by the Marketing Staff
  • 15% Production: Prepare final art for output with outside vendors, in-house production: large format printing, scanning, trimming, digital assets
  • 10% Other Duties as Assigned: Including, not limited to, office upkeep; assisting in surveys, etc
