Visage
Visage features the modern fairytales of Surelle Schewe, the underwater swimmers of Simon Huelsbeck, and the ideals of femininity of Natalia Berglund. It explores the human form: reflecting its transformations within historical storytelling, media iconography, and surreal imagery. It interrupts the idealistic perfection thrown upon these figures, revealing and redefining the visible stories.
Visage features works by Surelle Schewe, Simon Huelsbeck, and Natalia Berglund.
This gallery exhibit will be on view from February 4th - April 18th.
