Stories in Stills Exhibit
Focused on photography and portraiture, this exhibition explores the captivating nature of photographs to convey stories. In this exhibition, four artists seek to tell their tales.
Taoheed Bayo focuses on modeling expression to recount the development and struggles of his people. Bayo’s artistic style is project-dependent, but all his projects encompass storytelling elements and create an atmosphere of vulnerability.
Pawan Sharma explores the presence of migrants in public spaces of New York City.
Mark Khan (Odumuyiwa) harnesses the subtle power of candid beauty. And Will White utilizes interesting perspectives sure to make you double-take.
***Please note that the food pantry program will be in the gallery every other week beginning the week of September 21st. They will be organizing food and building bags on Monday (1-4pm) and Tuesday (11-3pm) of those weeks, and distributing to students on Wednesdays (2-6pm). When they are not organizing or distributing, they will be storing items. As a result the gallery will not be accessible Mon-Wed during the following weeks:
