My Space - My Being
Peripersonal space is the barrier of space we feel around our bodies. This second skin allows us to move and interact with the world around us. In this exhibition, three artists explore personal space and our relationship with our bodies. Kendall Laurent’s paintings reveal what personal space is like from her first person perspective. Elise Bonnes’ work shows the lasting effects when space and being is invaded without consent. Mckensey Koran’s work shows that we may try to hide within ourselves but our unique identities are what makes us human.
