Lunch with Leaders: Laura Knudson

Laura Knudson is the Assistant Vice Provost for Student Advocacy and Support in the Office for Student Affairs at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Laura oversees the OSA Advocacy and Support Units including the Care Program, Office for Community Standards, Parent and Family Program, Student Advocate Services, Student Conflict Resolution Center, Student Legal Services, and the Student Parent HELP Center. She also facilitates the student crisis and death response support on campus and is a staff lead on the Bias Response and Referral Network. She received her Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development from the University of Minnesota in 2014. Her dissertation research was on the social cognitive perspective of college student peer bullying behaviors. She has also previously served as an instructor in the University of Minnesota Leadership Minor.
