First Gen Week: Unlikely Film Screening

Tuesday, November 10th, 6:30 p.m. Coffman Memorial Union, Great Hall Zoom Meeting Link

This documentary investigates America’s college dropout crisis and the barriers students face in their pursuit of a college degree and meaningful career.

Join Multicultural Student Engagement and Student Unions & Activities for an in-person screening of the film Unlikely and be entered for a chance to win a UMN sweatshirt. Attendees will also have the opportunity to have their photo taken and added to our First Gen Appreciation poster.

Student Events and Entertainment (SEE) prioritizes student health and safety above all else. While at the event, attendees will be screened at the door, are expected to wear masks or face shields throughout the event, and maintain a six-foot distance from other attendees outside of their household. SEE staff will maintain a clean event space and enforce physical distancing and mask requirements. Additional details will be emailed prior to the event.


University of Minnesota-Twin Cities student U Card or 18+ with valid government issued ID required for entry.
