Diet Cig strive to pull you away from the impending doom of growing up, by entertaining with their opinionated punk jams. Their debut LP 'Swear I'm Good at This,' addresses the people who've judged them for not quite living up to a societal norm or expectation. “It's all about unpacking the feeling of approaching punk with radical softness, and the struggle when it’s not always read as powerful or cool or whatever enough," they describe in a statement. The New York duo refuses to hold back with their strums and thrashing drums.
Great Grandpa is inspired by the alternative rock of the 90's, yet offset by a love for noise and indie rock. Their debut LP ‘Plastic Cough’ was released in mid-2017. "These are skilled musicians making music that’s blatantly fun but also surprisingly subtle," said City Arts Magazine.
The Spook School are a four-piece band from Edinburgh, Scotland, exploring lyrics pertaining to gender and sexuality. Their themes include fluidity and the lack of a binary in gender.
