Byproducts of an Empire
Byproducts of an Empire features the dark and evocative work of Jacob Yeates, an artist-educator specializing in drawing and illustration. Within his artwork, dark, hunched figures nestle amongst a stark and haunting written narrative to address and critique the legacies of U.S. imperialism and law enforcement. Yeates uses a mixture of digital prints, digital collages, conte, and personal storytelling to bring his art into reality.
This gallery exhibit will be on view from February 4th - April 11th.
