Student Unions & Activities Grants Program funds hundreds of thousands of dollars towards student group events and projects each year. By serving as a member of the grants committee you could help make funding decisions. This volunteer opportunity offers students and staff the chance to make a valuable contribution to the campus community. Committee members are responsible for reviewing all grant applications and attending monthly committee meetings to make funding decisions. Committee meeting dates for 2019-20 are as follows. Please note that these meeting dates are tentative, and may be adjusted slightly due to committee availability or volume of applications.

Committee members should be available from 1:00-5:00pm on the day of the committee meeting. Lunch is provided to the committee at each meeting. Prospective members (University students, staff, or faculty) that are unavailable on certain dates but can attend the majority of meetings will still be considered.

The priority application deadline for the 2019-20 school year is June 21, 2019. Following the June application deadline, new members may be accepted throughout the year as space allows. Prospective members should complete the Student Group Grants Committee Interest Form.
