The Student Unions & Activities (SUA) Student Events and Entertainment (SEE) intends to further the cultural, educational, social, entertainment, and recreational needs of the students and campus community through providing campus-wide programs.
The SEE Event Planners develop program planning skills and provide leadership experience through initiating, developing, and implementing a diverse event schedule.
The SEE Game Rooms Planners have committee specific responsibilities that include planning in-person and virtual events (e.g. Bingo and Trivia) for Goldy's Gameroom and large events for Goldy's Gameroom and the Gopher Spot
The successful applicant for the Student Events & Entertainment Game Room Event Planners will be eligible to hold a U of MN student position and expect to be be available and eligible from May, 2021 through Spring, 20222
The Event Planners work up to 15 hours during the academic year and up to 10 hours per week over the summer.
Standard business hours are 8:30am-5pm, weekdays. Both virtual and in-person event times vary, but will, include evenings and weekends.
