Student Events and Entertainment Team

The Student Events and Entertainment Team aims to enhance the cultural, educational, social, entertainment, and recreational opportunities on campus. Further, the Student Events and Entertainment Team intends to provide leadership experience and skill development to participating students. The Student Events and Entertainment Team consists of the following planning committees: Arts & Culture, Music, Game Rooms, Homecoming, Social Events, and Spring Jam.

MULTICULTURAL STUDENT ENGAGEMENT

The Office for Multicultural Student Engagement (MCSE) is dedicated to providing diverse opportunities to all students to increase awareness, understanding, and appreciation for cultural competency, social justice, and intersectionality. MCSE promotes leadership development, student success, and retention through collaborative, engaging, and educational programming.

Leadership Enrichment Programs provide a wide variety of leadership opportunities for undergraduate students at the University of Minnesota. The programs and resources are designed to provide students with real-world leadership training and experience, often beyond campus and within the greater Twin Cities community.

Board of Governors

The Board of Governors (BOG) serves as a voice for students in the policies and operations of Student Unions & Activities. Through the Board’s leadership, the student unions are able to adapt to the changing needs of the campus community by adding services, lobbying successfully for renovations and increasing hours of operation.

Student Unions & Activities employs hundreds of students in the areas of Retail, Administration, Facilities, Marketing & Design and more. All positions offer competitive pay and an opportunity to develop valuable career skills. You must be a current University of Minnesota student enrolled at least half-time (undergraduate student, six credits; graduate student, three credits) to qualify for a student position.
