Event Elements
Meet the Band: Virgo
Virgo is a 3-piece rock band from Minneapolis, formed by frontman and guitarist Paris Lim, quickly recruiting Zander Lang on bass, and later Jack McWilliams on drums. Virgo draws their inspiration from rock icons such as the Stooges, the Damned, and Led Zeppelin, as well as 80s punk bands like Minor Threat and Zero Boys.
In closing, the members of Virgo would like to make this promise: Husker Du was the fastest band in Minneapolis, but we will be the loudest.

Meet the Band: Honeygrl
Honeygrl is the musical project of Minnesota native Abbey Doerre, an emerging voice in the indie pop/rock scene. Based in Minneapolis, honeygrl’s sound blends the raw edge of punk with the introspective lyricism of indie folk music. Her music often explores themes of self-discovery, and on The Current’s Scouting Report, she’s been compared to artists like Soccer Mommy, as well as Blondie. View their Linktree for their socials!
