Student Group Officer Training is required for student group registration. Training sessions cover all the basics of what you, as a new officer, will need to know for your upcoming term. A minimum of one officer is required to attend. Also, please note that advisors are welcome to attend with you, but a student officer's attendance is required for credit.
Early registration for the 2012-13 school year will start on April 13, 2012. New sessions will be added in April, so please check back here for available dates and times.
Even if your group is currently registered for this year, your benefits will expire by September 30, 2012. Please start the registration process and get a head start for next year!
Remember to Bring...
Remember to bring all of the following to Student Group Officer Training:
A copy of the Officer Declaration Form receipt with all officer signatures
Signed Equal Opportunity Statement
$25.00 (Cash or check payable to University of Minnesota for Registered Student Organizations; EFS number from department for Campus Life Programs) for Registration fee
A copy of your group's constitution if you are a new group or your constitution is older than 3 years
A copy of the completed Mailbox Rental Application if your group requested a mailbox in Coffman Union

Yourself, on time -
Student Group Officer Training sessions start promptly at the designated time. If the officer of your student group is more than five minutes late, your student group will not be allowed to participate in the session and will be required to reschedule accordingly.
