Everyone people watches! So why not join an organization that has planned activities for people watchers?
This is a non-profit, non-creepy organization for those who are into the social, psychological, and analytical aspects of people watching. Those who are looking to experience group psychology, write critiques, and delve into the culture of the University of Minnesota should look into this organization. Trust me, you'll see the world differently! Plus we focus on FUN, as we are also a non-boring organization!!!
Group's principal activities, events, or programs:
People watching is the primary activity, and field trips to unique sub-cultures of Minneapolis will be most plentiful. We also will go to other campus organizations to see what they have to offer and publish our findings at www.campuspeoplewatchers.org under the link "Student Org Info".
How this group's activities benefit the University community:
The Campus People Watchers benefit the University Community by helping students experience all that the University and the Twin Cities have to offer, whether through watching other student organizations, meeting new people, or providing information on what we have learned through our people watching.
How this group fits into its categories:
People watching is fun, and having fun makes you happier and healthier. Additionally, people watching is everyone's favorite hobby! And lastly, we are arguably zanier than ALL of the other organizations on campus, hence, we also categorize ourselves in the category of other.
How to get involved with this group:
We meet on the first Thursday of every month. Please contact Nathaniel Buck (email@example.com) or the CPW e-mail address (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information, or join the Facebook group "Campus People Watchers."
