Group Description
The Indian Services Project at the University of Minnesota strives to (1) educate students about Native American law and (2) help Native Americans prepare estate planning documents, child custody forms, and other legal documents.
Group's principal activities, events, or programs:
The Indian Services Project at the University of Minnesota will coordinate and staff multiple legal clinics throughout each academic year. The clinics' target audiences is Native Americans, particularly single parents and elders. Each clinic will be staffed by University of Minnesota Law School students. A minimum of one attorney licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota will supervise each clinic.
