About this Group

Group Description
WOLF is a student group dedicated to developing student's leadership skills, providing them with academic, professional, civic engagement and other resources and opportunities, and making a difference in the campus and community climate.
Group's principal activities, events, or programs:
The Women’s Outreach and Leadership Force, as a part of the Women’s Center, works to connect individuals and organizations with resources, offer leadership development and educational programs, and advocate for systemic policy, structure and climate change. We also engage in regular campus and community service and outreach activities.
How this group's activities benefit the University community:
We provide students with academic, professional, civic engagement, and other resources and opportunities that are very rewarding. We also work to improve the campus climate for women staff, students, and faculty, and educate the community about women’s issues.
How this group fits into its categories:
We fit into the Cultural/Diversity category because we are advocates for gender, racial, and ethnic diversity and equality in all areas of life.
How to get involved with this group:
Anyone who wishes to volunteer for the Women's Center through WOLF can contact Michelle at uwolf@umn.edu.
