Group Description
We build bridges between the landscape architecture student community and at the University of Minnesota and professional landscape architects in Minnesota.
Group's principal activities, events, or programs:
-Firm tour of local landscape architecture firms -Invite professional landscape architects to consult on professional development activities, portfolio workshop and critique -Serve as student connection to the Minnesota landscape architecture professional community -Provide opportunities for students to connect with each other across departments
How this group's activities benefit the University community:
Creating professional networking for landscape architecture students and encouraging cross-disciplinary activities between the departments of landscape architecture, architecture, civil engineering, planning, conservation and horticulture.
How this group fits into its categories:
We are primarily focused on professional development and outreach for landscape architecture students and interested in furthering connections in the field
How to get involved with this group:
