Join us for a reception celebrating Rachel Weiss's "Give and Take."
Rachel Weiss uses artistic means to explore the contradictions present in the human experience. Weiss uses paint in a way that allows the medium to act freely, while also controlling the way it creates certain shapes and forms. She relates this to the complex systems of the human brain and how we experience variances like “emotions versus logic, risk versus safety, and feelings versus principles”. By striving to represent this artistically, Weiss successfully creates compelling works that entice and provoke.
Planned by the Student Program Board.
