Description

Formed in 2008 in their humble beginnings of playing in coffee shops in Bemidji, the all-female band Yasen Marie has since come to the Twin Cities where they have a flourishing fan base and now play at venues like First Ave and The Cabooze. Their eclectic sound, described as anywhere from pop to folk, produced their Freshman CD just this summer titled “King of Darkness”. With strong musical talent and songwriting they are sure to continue growing just as rapidly.

Local solo artist Leah T. (Leah Tousignant) is currently finishing her final year at McNally Smith College of Music where she studies classical piano. However her skills go far past her formal education as she performs pop, folk, country and jazz all with her smooth lyrical voice. She is currently working on her first album scheduled to be completed in Fall 2013.
