Requirements

  • Current UMN-TC degree seeking student. See student employment eligibility
  • Great customer service attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong detail orientation and ability to multitask
  • Strong computer skills and Internet proficiency (Google suite, Mazévo, Microsoft Office)
  • Basic knowledge of the University & campus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous office or customer service experience
  • Some knowledge of Office for Student Affairs and/or some involvement experience on campus
  • At least one semester of experience with Student Unions and Activities at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities

Duties and Responsibilities:

80% Administration of the Outdoor Space application process, including

  • Responding to email correspondence
  • Maintaining accurate status of all in-process permits
  • Assisting customer with the Mazévo permit request system
  • Requesting needed information from clients in order to complete their permit request

15% Reporting and communicating with campus partners

  • Distribute weekly outdoor space event schedule
  • Send associated permits to relevant campus departments
  • Run aggregate permit reports for (semester) tracking

5% Other duties as assigned by supervisor
